Workshop participants,
We’re hopeful.
We know you, like the rest of your friends who have now finished Netflix and Disney Plus all in the same day, have maybe cast a hopeful eye to the summer and to the Gloria Shields Workshop. We’re thinking about that, too.
But, at this point, we’re in limbo like the rest of the world. We just think it’s too early to decide on the fate of the workshop.
Too much depends upon the spread of this virus as well as how states view social distancing and schools view summer travel.
We have your health and safety as Priority One. We hope you do, too. We hope you stay home cheering all of the heroes working the front lines for us all.
But know that our faculty is signed up and ready to go, and we hope you are too once we feel comfortable enough to open up for workshop registrations. We’ll get back to you as we know more in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, keep rocking along. Remember that your publications will offer students a sense of normalcy that they’ll get in this crazy time. So be creative and resourceful, all from the safety of your home.
