Overflow hotel now available
The Marriott Quorum by the Galleria, the workshop hotel, is full. Rooms are available at the Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas/Addison/Quorum Drive, located across the parking lot.
The $114 per night rate (plus taxes and fees) includes a hot breakfast buffet. One-Bedroom Suites and Studio Suites are available and sleep three people in a queen bed and sofa bed.
We expect these rooms to fill quickly. Wednesday, June 25 is the deadline for booking rooms.
The Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria will once again host the Gloria Shields NSPA Media Workshop. Centrally located in the heart of Addison, the hotel is surrounded by 160 restaurants and located very close to the Galleria.
The hotel is also conveniently located near both the Dallas-Fort Worth and Dallas Love Field airports.
The hotel features a resort-style outdoor pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The lobby Starbucks is a popular morning attraction for workshop participants.
Reserving hotel rooms
A special workshop rate of $114 per night is available for standard double rooms (two double beds) or standard king room (one king bed). Hotel rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 13.53%) in effect at the time of check-out.
The deadline for making hotel reservations is Sunday, June 8. Hotel rooms fill quickly — well before the deadline.
Advisers, download and complete the New Guest Room List. Then email the document to Adrienne Polisky at the Marriott. A separate spreadsheet must be submitted for each school reserving rooms.
If applicable, fill-out the Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax Exemption Certificate. Email the certificate to Adrienne Polisky at the Marriott.
After receiving the room list with the billing noted, the hotel will email the adviser a credit card authorization form via SERTIFI to guarantee the rooms. The reservation is not complete until the credit card authorization form is received.
School purchase orders must be received 30 days prior to arrival. Updates to the room list must be made directly with Adrienne Polisky.
